Media Arts, Grade 10, Open (ASM2O1)

2006-07

This course focuses on the technical and artistic aspects of Media Art.  This course provides students with a fun, positive atmosphere in which to explore their creativity through various computer software.  Students will do all work in class and are not allowed to bring work home or to bring work from home into the class on a floppy or CD ROM due to viral concerns.  It is encouraged that students spend time outside of class researching new and interesting websites and applications of the software we will be covering in class.

Due to the highly specialized nature of the materials and equipments used in the media arts a studio fee of $50.00 is required at the beginning of this course.  Students must also acquire a media folder for handing in assignments.
