Course Overview

 

Geography is a subject that uses a variety of perspectives to the study of people, places and environments around the world. In this course students will:

 

·        Use a variety of concepts (ecozones, ecological footprint, “think globally, act locally”, sustainable development…) to explore Canada’s physical, human and economic geography

·        Develop geographic knowledge and skills that will help them understand Canada’s diversity as well as our place and role in the global community
