Course Overview

 

 

Geography is a subject that brings a variety of perspectives, both social and physical, to the study of people, places and environments around the world. In this course students will analyse significant issues facing Canadians as citizens of an independent world. The challenges of creating a sustainable and equitable future will be examined through the study of such topics as: economic interdependence, geopolitical conflict, regional disparities, and environmental protection.
