DECA Ontario is a non-profit educational organization run by an elected Board of Directors and is affiliated with International DECA USA . DECA which is an association of marketing/business students offers a recognized program of competitive events which uses interviews, tests, role-plays and written project reports to evaluate marketing and management skills identified by the nation's business community. DECA Vaughan has been hard at work since the school year began. We are currently fundraising by selling SPC cards. We will be actively fundraising towards our final competition in April 2007, called the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Orlando , Florida . Last year we had five DECA representatives from Vaughan travel to the ICDC, this year we hope to have even more winners.

This year, DECA Vaughan consists of 41 outstanding members, plus eight executive members. We are happy to have Helen Song, Andrea Ng, Dipti Tankala, Erica Lusher, Omri Arbiv, Oleksandr Obridko, Amanda Menkis, and Anna Mintz on our executive team. Also, many thanks to Ms. Morgenthau for being our DECA advisor and assisting us greatly with all endeavors.

We thank everyone for participating and we look forward to the upcoming DECA Provincials which are February 12 th and 13 th , 2007!
